Setting sail upon the cruise liner Carnival Elation on Saturday, November 3'rd 2007, the anticipation and excitement of what was to come overtook me like a child on Christmas morning, unwrapping what is expected to be the gift he's been longing for all year. The ports of call to be experienced and enjoyed were Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, both of which I knew would be more exciting than usual once the main event to take place that very evening had presented itself. The time: 6:15pm, the place: Inspiration dining room, table 229.
                                                                                                                                                                        ...and then it happened...

Amongst the table talk about a ten year anniversary and the couple who had just two days prior gotten married, I expressed my undying and everlasting love for Kira, professing my desire to love, honor, care and provide for her and our future family as best as I possibly can. Bending down on one knee beside the table, the question, "Kira, will you be my wife?"  flowed from my mouth and heart without so much as even a conscious thought.
